Welcome to Cards by Amy K.

I am SO GLAD you stopped by to check out my blog!!! Here I will be posting my current projects for you to see. PLEASE feel free to leave me a comment. I would LOVE to hear what you think about what I'm working on. I have been a scrapbooker/paper crafter since I first caught wind of this wonderful hobby in 2006. I am lucky enough to get to spend my days doing something I love so much and which brings so much joy into my life. I first started scrapbooking as a way to pass the time as I found myself at home alone all day suddenly, now I can't imagine life without it. Too bad I don't get paid for it, then I really would have it all!!!

Happy Valentines day card for Robin

I made this card to send to my snow bound friend in Penn. Well, maybe they aren't covered in snow at the moment but it sure is cold enough there to be snow. lol. I just found this patterned paper pad at My Micheal's and its the Kelly Panacci line for K & co. I was also able to find the journaling tags for the collection too. My Michael's isn't so great at caring all the products for each line they have and honestly, as much as I love mike's I don't ever find too much paper there and I LOVE paper. IN fact, we just started getting Primas this past year. I guess we're moving on up. lol I just wanted to share this card I made with you and see what you thought of it. OH, and yes, if you are noticing, it's a much larger card than normal. I think Its like 81/4 by 5 or something like that. I've had a lovely lady donate a ton of greeting card envelopes to me and they are in odd sizes. I'm trying to use them up.
Hope you enjoyed today's post.
